THE LEGEND OF SAINT JULIEN
The totally true story of our patron saint
Once upon a time in the Middle Ages, there was a humble monk named Saint Julien, who had a knack for discovering hidden treasures. While on a pilgrimage to the Far East, he stumbled upon a mystical plant the locals brewed into a magical elixir called "tea".
With a twinkle in his eye and a taste for adventure, St. Julien decided to share his newfound delights with his fellow Europeans. But alas! The journey back was fraught with peril- from bandits to storms- all determined to keep him from spreading his love of tea.
Yet, armed with determination and a steaming cup of tea, St. Julien braved challenges, offering a sip of warmth and comfort to anyone who crossed his path.
Upon his return to Europe, St. Julien was hailed the patron saint of good tea, forever celebrated for his bravery and his gift of warmth and tranquility in a cup.
To this day, we honour his memory by only selling the finest, purest tea at St. Julien Tea House and to our online customers. Three cheers for St. Julien, the tea explorer!

Love this new little teahouse. Lovely staff, happy to offer options. The vegan scone is the lightest I've had in a long time. Can't wait to try their high tea.
